95. Thomas Albert⁴ HAWKINS (Thomas³ HAWKINS, Thomas² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born on 21 May 1840 in Freeport, Stephenson Co., Illinois. He died on 26 May 1930 in Greer Co., Oklahoma.

He was married to Rebecca M. HOUSTON about 1865 in Navarro Co., Texas. After their marriage in Texas, they homesteaded in Greer Co., Oklahoma, where Thomas farmed, ranched, and operated a wagon yard in Magnum, Oklahoma. He was reported to have had one of the first automobiles in eastern Greer County. Rebecca M. HOUSTON was born on 14 Jun 1841. Her grandson, Murray Houston Hawkins, told his granddaughter that Rebecca was a member of the General Sam Houston family. However, the exact link has not been established. She died on 11 Jun 1929. Both Thomas and Rebecca were buried in the Blair, Jackson Co., Oklahoma cemetery. Thomas Albert HAWKINS and Rebecca M. HOUSTON had the following children:
