He died on 28 Aug 1941 in Madison, Dane Co., Wisconsin. His death at a hospital in Madison followed "a two years' illness of complications. He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana. He had lived in Peru, Indiana, until about 1931 when he moved to Belmont, Wisconsin, where he was employed in road construction work. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.
