1017. Arthur⁶ CHICK (Minerva "Ellen"⁵ HAWKINS, Zadock⁴ HAWKINS, Zadock³ HAWKINS, Zadock² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born about 1883 in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana. He died about 1930. This is an estimate based on the claim of his son, Arthur "Bob," that his father died when Bob "was a kid." According to his son, he was not a very large man.

He was married to Jennie CHRISTENSEN about 1919 in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana. They were living in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana, in September 1924. In the late 1920's they moved to Wisconsin, apparently to avoid some problems in Miami Co. Jennie CHRISTENSEN was born in Denmark. Arthur CHICK and Jennie CHRISTENSEN had the following children:

1940 i. Leroy⁷ CHICK was born about 1920 in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana, most likely. He died about 1920 in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana, most likely. He died of Scarlet Fever as a baby.
