360. Margaret A.⁵ HAWKINS (Elisha⁴ HAWKINS, Zadock³ HAWKINS, Zadock² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born in Aug 1844 in Indiana, USA. She appeared on the 1850 U.S. Census with her parents in Waltz Twp., Wabash Co., Indiana. Ten years later she appeared on the census with her mother and step father (her uncle) in Washington Twp., Miami Co., Indiana. She died in 1903.

She was married to Harvey S. WALKER on 4 Oct 1864 in Miami Co., Indiana. She was divorced from Harvey S. WALKER on 18 Sep 1865 in Miami Co., Indiana. It appears that no children were born to this marriage.

She was married to Nathaniel STOWMAN on 16 Mar 1870 in Peru, Miami Co., Indiana. Nathan and Margaret appeared on the 1870 U.S. Census in Wabasha Co., Minnesota. A few years later they moved to Kansas where their son Franklin was born in 1874. Around 1875 they moved to Illinois where they appeared on the 1880 U.S.Census in LaSalle Co. They must have removed to Indiana soon after that census because Nathan died in Argos, Marshall Co., Indiana in 1881. It appears that Margaret remained in Indiana because she provided an affidavit from Hammond, Lake Co., Indiana in 1895. She appeared on the 1900 U.S. Census in Marshall Co., Indiana. Nathaniel STOWMAN was born about 1840 in Roxbury Twp., Morris Co., New Jersey. The record claims he was born in Roxbury, New Jersey, which most likely is Roxbury Twp. in Morris County. He died on 4 Jun 1881 in Argos, Marshall Co., Indiana, USA. He was buried in Denver, Miami Co., Indiana. Margaret A. HAWKINS and Nathaniel STOWMAN had the following children:
