A newspaper clipping gives her birth as September 1868, two years and two months before the date reported here, which is from Dr. Hawkins' book. An obituary places her birth in September 1869. The correct date is not known. She died about 1947. She lived in Elwood, Indiana, which is probably where she died, and was buried in the Elwood Cemetery. A newspaper clipping at the time of her death indicates she had two grandchildren.

She was married to Major A. STEWART on 1 Apr 1894. Viola "Ola" MCDONALD and Major A. STEWART had the following children:
