69. Isabella "Jennie"⁴ HAWKINS (Wilmot³ HAWKINS, William Wilmot² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born about 1851 in New Brunswick, Canada. She died in 1927. Early records clearly associate her as Isabella, daughter of Wilmot Hawkins and wife Mary. Her absence as a Grantor with the names of her two sisters on a deed in 1885 in Charlotte Co., New Brunswick, which conveyed land they had inherited from their father, originally led us to believe that she might have died before 1885. However, the discovery of an announcement of the marriage of Isabell Hawkins and John Thompson convinces us that she is the "Jennie" who appears in subsequent records as the wife of John Thompson. The ages agree, we do not find evidence of a Jennie Hawkins prior to the marriage of Isabell Hawkins and John Thompson, and we do not find evidence of more than one John Thompson in connection with the family.

She was married to Capt. John W. THOMPSON on 18 Aug 1873 in Blacks Harbour, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Capt. John W. THOMPSON was born in 1848. Isabella "Jennie" HAWKINS and Capt. John W. THOMPSON had the following children:

329 i. Eleanor "Ella"⁵ THOMPSON was born on 11 May 1879. She died on 5 Aug 1880.
330 ii. Annie⁵ THOMPSON was born on 11 May 1879. She died on 26 Feb 1880. Ella and Annie were twins.
331 iii. Aubrey⁵ THOMPSON was born on 17 May 1881. He died on 8 Aug 1891.
332 iv. John W.⁵ THOMPSON was born on 10 Jun 1885. He died on 13 Aug 1891.
