44. Charles Anthony³ HOUSLER (Mary Jane² STEWART, Benjamin¹ STEWART) was born about 1873 in Chester Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan, USA. He appeared on the 1880 U.S. Census with his parents in Chester Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan. He died in 1933 in Ravenna, Michigan. He died of a coronary embolism. He was buried in Ravenna Cemetery, Ravenna, Michigan. He was living at 11681 Ellis Rd., near Ravenna, Michigan at time of marrriage.

He was married to Bertha Belle CANUTE (daughter of William CANUTE and Rosy J.) on 19 OCT 1903 in Ravenna, Michigan, most likely. She was from Ravenna, Michigan before they married. In 1910 just after Bertha had died, their children were distributed among relatives. Their son Floyd stayed with Charles. The other son, Lyle, was living with Charles' mother Mary Jane DAVENPORT. Their daughter, Beatrice, was living with Bertha's parents, William and Rosy J. CANUTE. At that time Charles and Floyd appeared on the U.S. Census in Ravenna, Muskegon Co., Michigan. Bertha Belle CANUTE was born about 1885. She died in 1909 in Ravenna, Michigan. She died of complications from child birth. She was buried in 1909 in Ravenna Cemetery, Ravenna, Michigan. Charles Anthony HOUSLER and Bertha Belle CANUTE had the following children:

He was married to Minnie DRAIN on 21 DEC 1913. She was from Newaygo, Michigan before they married. Charles and Minnie appeared on the 1920 U.S. Census in Ravenna, Muskegon Co., Michigan. Minnie DRAIN was born about 1885. She died in 1942 in Ravenna, Michigan. Her death was caused by burns suffered in fire at her home while trying to start a wood stove. She was buried in Ravenna Cemetery, Ravenna, Michigan. Charles Anthony HOUSLER and Minnie DRAIN had the following children:

178 ii. Russell⁴ HOUSLER was born in 1917 in Michigan, USA. He appeared on the 1920 U.S. Census with his parents in Ravenna, Muskegon Co., Michigan. He died in 1932. He died of multiple sclerosis and was buried at Ravenna Cemetery in Ravenna, Michigan.
