297. William⁵ HALEY (Mary⁴ HAWKINS, William³ HAWKINS, William Wilmot² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born in 1862 in Ontario, Canada. He and sister Minnie or Mary were twins. He died on 20 Apr 1897 in Marceline, Linn Co., Missouri.

He was married to Mary J. MYERS on 21 Oct 1884. Mary J. MYERS died in 1897. William HALEY and Mary J. MYERS had the following children:

873 i. Dr. Harry⁶ HALEY was born about 1886. He was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. At one time he was the Veterinarian for the State of Missouri. When Highway 36 was being built across the state, he shut down construction because of the abuse of the mules and horses.
