He was married to Jennie Electa BROWN (daughter of John W. BROWN and Gamelda A. SMITH) on 27 Oct 1897 in Yorkville, Kendall Co., Illinois. They were both from Ottawa, La Salle Co., Illinois, at the time of their marriage. She was the widow of a Mr. Eyester at the time they married. Jennie Electa BROWN was born about 1859 in Medosia, Kansas. The name of the city is hard to read. It may have been Neodesha, Kansas.
