383. Emily Maria⁵ HAWKINS (William W.⁴ HAWKINS, Zadock³ HAWKINS, Zadock² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born on 19 Mar 1847 in Indiana, USA. She appeared with her parents on the 1850 U.S. Census in Marshall Co., Indiana. Ten years later she appeared with them again, this time in North Bend Twp., Starke Co., Indiana, which was probably a move of only a few miles. She died on 19 Jun 1925 in Edison, Furnas Co., Nebraska. Emily's Death Record indicates her middle name was Marie. Her father's Will lists her middle name as Maria. The Fetters Family Book suggests her middle name was Mariah. Since her father's Will is the oldest among these records, it is considered the most credible.

She was married to John FETTERS (son of Michael FETTERS and Elizabeth FAUSENAUGHT) on 28 Sep 1865 in Starke Co., Indiana, USA. They were living in Beatrice Twp., Gage County, Nebraska during the 1880 census. Based on the birth places of their children, they had moved to Nebraska from Indiana after 1878. By the 1900 census they had moved to Gosper Co., Nebraska. John FETTERS was born on 19 Oct 1843 in Stark Co., Ohio. He died on 17 Apr 1923 in Edison, Nebraska.
