He died on 3 Sep 1999 in Midway, Albert Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Upon his death, he was cremated and his ashes buried at the foot of his parents' gravesite in Pennfield.

He was married to Norma Mildred BATES (daughter of Leverett BATES and Juanita V. ELDRIDGE) in Pennfield, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Their marriage ended in divorce. Norma next married Jonah Eugene Lambert. Noel "Blanchard" JUSTASON and Norma Mildred BATES had the following children:

She had been married to a Mr. Coleman prior to her marriage to Blanchard. Jean Kathleen KING was born on 7 Jun 1938 in Preau, Nova Scotia, Canada. She died on 22 Mar 2007 in Riverside-Albert, New Brunswick, Canada.
