He was married to Mary Esther ANNIS (daughter of John ANNIS and Esther Ann ROWELL) on 11 Nov 1877 in Norwood, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts. They later divorced. Mary Esther ANNIS was born in 1839. She died in 1912. George Alfred Prescott BUCKNAM and Mary Esther ANNIS had the following children:
