13. George M.³ HILLARD (Sarah Ophelia² STEWART, Benjamin¹ STEWART) was born on 12 AUG 1869 in Big Springs, Ottawa Co., Michigan, USA. He appeared on the 1870 U.S. Census with his parents in Wright Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan. Ten years later he appeared with them in Chester Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan. He died on 1 MAR 1946 in Selma Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan, USA. He was buried in Meauwataka Cemetery, Colfax Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan.

He was married to Mary E. BACHELDER (daughter of Henry BACHELDER and Miranda GARDNER) on 12 NOV 1893 in Meauwataka, Colfax Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan, USA. George and Mary appeared on the 1900 and 1910 U.S. Censuses in Selma Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan. In 1910 George's father was living with them. Mary E. BACHELDER was born on 10 NOV 1875 in Carthage, Illinois, USA. She resided between 1883 and 1893 in Meauwataka, Colfax Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan, USA. She died on 20 OCT 1948 in Cadillac, Wexford Co., Michigan, USA. Census records suggest her birth date may have been in November, 1872.

George M. HILLARD and Mary E. BACHELDER had the following children:
