He appeared on the 1870 U.S. Census with his parents in Wright Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan. Ten years later he appeared on the census with them again, this time in Chester Twp., Ottawa Co., Michigan. He died on 5 MAR 1943 in Muskegon, Muskegon Co., Michigan, USA.

In 1910 Franklin and Margaret appeared on the census again in Colfax Twp, living within their own household. In that census he was listed as Milo F. HILLARD. Margaret A.
