7. John² HUNT (Jacob¹ HUNT) was born on 10 Jun 1799. He died about 1844 in West Virginia. It was reported that he was killed when a tree fell on him.

He was married to Barbara PRINGLE on 11 Nov 1830 in Upshur Co., West Virginia. John HUNT and Barbara PRINGLE had the following children:
