Census in a boarding house in Surrey Twp., Clare Co., Michigan. In that census
he was reported to be a saw mill laborer. He died in OCT 1916 in Ashland, Ashland
Co., Wisconsin, USA. Family records report that he was a lumberjack and that
he drowned while floating logs down a river to Lake Superior. His death record
reports that he "accidentally drowned by falling from the scow" in
October 1916 and that his body was not found until 15 July 1917.
He was married to Marie Rose LUDACKA (daughter of James LUDACKA and Catherine MARZ) on 7 SEP 1915 in Bessemer, Gogebic Co., Michigan, USA. Marie Rose LUDACKA was born about 1888 in Bohemia. |
