She appeared on the 1880 U.S. Census with her parents in Austin Twp., MeCosta Co., Michigan. She died on 12 SEP 1956 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., Michigan, USA. She was buried in Cadillac, Michigan. Laura's birth year comes from her death record. Other records suggest suggest she was born a year earlier. The Mayflower Descendant article should have reported that her marriage to Francis M. Sischo occurred in 1899 instead of 1889.
