He was married to Margaret Ann ICKES (daughter of Adam ICKES and Mary HAVERSTOCK) about 1833. Margaret Ann ICKES was born on 9 Jan 1815 in Bedford Co., Pennsylvania, USA. She died on 23 Oct 1891 in Helena, Sandusky Co., Ohio, USA. We also believe that the parents that McBride and Capener name for her are probably correct. David's choice of his brother Joseph Garn an executor of his estate would have been a natural choice since Joseph's wife would have been a sister of David's wife Margaret.
