288. Garron Jesse7 GARN (Dennis Stewart6 GARN, Helen Frances5 NIXON, Chloie Adell4 SMITH, Cassius Emerson3 SMITH, Nathan2 SMITH, Daniel1 SMITH).

He was married to Melissa Aileen BAKER (daughter of Rev. Donald Lee BAKER and Aileen Louise MORWOOD) in Manassas, Prince William Co., Virginia, USA. They had already announced their plans to marry in a religious ceremony in Toledo, Ohio, where Melissa lived and worked when Garron received news from the Marine Corps that he would be sent overseas shortly after their planned marriage date. The Marine Corps also informed him that he would be sent unaccompanied because they were not yet married. Upon learning that the orders could be changed to allow Melissa to accompany him if they were married sooner, they decided to marry in a civil ceremony to satisfy the Marine Corps. They still had the wedding in Toledo that they both wanted and the civil ceremony performed earlier allows them to be together overseas.
