7. Samuel² GARN (Abraham¹ GARN) was born on 16 Aug 1838 in Sandusky, Ohio. He appeared on the 1850 U.S. Census with his parents in Jackson Twp., Sandusky Co., Ohio. He died on 16 Sep 1870 in Burr Oak, Marshall Co., Indiana, USA. He was buried in Burr Oak Cemetery, Marshall Co., Indiana.

He was married to Lucinda BURKETT about 1862. Lucinda BURKETT was born on 9 Aug 1842 in Sandusky, Ohio. Samuel GARN and Lucinda BURKETT had the following children:

34 i. Mary E.³ GARN was born on 8 May 1863. She died on 22 Oct 1863. Her grave marker places her death on 20 December 1863, age 6 mo., 14 days, which is in disagreement with another source.
