67. Sarah⁷ CARN (Frederick⁶ GARN, Johannes⁵ GERN, Johann Adam⁴ GERN, Johannes³ GERN, David² GERN, Johannes¹ GERN) was born on 3 Sep 1803. She died on 18 Dec 1896.

She was married to Mathias FEATHER. Mathias FEATHER was born on 7 Jun 1802. He died on 12 May 1898. McBride and Capener list several children for Mathias and Sarah's family (p. 677). However, they do not seem to correspond with the children named in the censuses where Mathias and Sarah (Sally/Salome) appear. We have not attempted to sort out the contradictions. The only child we can name for certain is the child listed below. Sarah CARN and Mathias FEATHER had the following children:

195 i. Polly⁸ FEATHER was born on 7 Aug 1836 in Pennsylvania, USA. She died on 14 Dec 1909 in Napier Twp., Bedford Co., Pennsylvania, USA.
196 ii. Rachel⁸ FEATHER was born on 6 Apr 1843. She died on 28 Dec 1866. The date of death on her grave marker is clearly legible. Her age at death appears to be 23 y, 8m, 22d. However, the number of years was difficult to read and may have been 28y.
